Description
Steelcut 3 was designed by Frans Dijkmeijer.
Born in 1936 on Dutch soil, Frans studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. In 1992 he started working at Kvadrat and then designed the predecessor of Steelcut 3, namely Steelcut 2. This has now been renewed in a collection with modern colours.
This collection is characterized by durability and an innovative fabric. The weave pattern brings small pyramids to the surface, which gives the fabric a three-dimensional effect. Due to the precision and uniformity, Steelcut 3 still has a simple, calm appearance.
The colors are designed by Giulio Ridolfo.
