Kvadrat Collection overview
Kvadrat is a Danish weaving mill that has focused on the aesthetic, technological and functional characteristics of textiles since 1968. To push the boundaries of development, they work closely with designers, architects and artists such as Doshi Levien, Patricia Urquiola, Olafur Eliasson, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Giulio Ridolfo, Margrethe Odgaard, Alfredo Häberli, Peter Saville, Pipilotti Rist and Thomas Demand.
The production process is at least as important as collaborations. Kvadrat has weaving mills in England, Norway and the Netherlands. By keeping production close by, monitoring emissions, waste and local resources is optimal in both the production process and the design process.
Kvadrat fabrics are made to last and therefore have a ten-year warranty with some exceptions.
