Kinnasand designed this collection of curtain fabrics called Artic for the fabric house Kvadrat.
What immediately stands out about Artic is the surface, which can be described as a heavy, tightly woven structure with a traditional look. This is due to the yarns that are not all the same thickness and therefore create a feeling of handicraft. These disproportionate yarns create subtle lines that reveal, blend and dissolve when Artic is hung as a curtain.
Artic's yarns are a mix of linen and viscose, which gives this curtain fabric more volume and weight. Artic will also keep its color for a long time because the fibers are dyed.
