Description
Arda is a knitted furniture fabric from Kvadrat. This fabric appears to be made up of pixels that together create complex natural shapes, structures and colors that come from remote nature.
The Arda collection is part of a design project called "design by Nature", which comes from the Swedish design studio Front led by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren.
Arda's knitting pattern is constructed in such a way that, like the fluid experience of nature, it reveals surprising nuances and characteristics as the environment or circumstances change. Light and shadow play an indispensable role here.
The yarns with which Arda is woven mainly consist of wool with a small part of polyester and a pinch of nylon. For the "design by Nature" project it is important that the impact of the production process on nature is as minimal as possible. Thanks to innovative technology, Arda's water consumption has been reduced by 80 to 95 percent.
Arda is wear-resistant, fire-retardant, lightfast and certified with the "Greenguard Gold" label. All these features make Arda not only an environmentally conscious choice, but also suitable for contract and residential upholstery.

To clean

Do not wash, bleach or tumble dry. Ironing at low temperature (max. 110°C), steam can cause damage. Cleaning by a professional dry cleaner is permitted.
